Cerakote your pistol or revolver!
Since 2012 Tactical Penguin has been the nations premiere CERTIFIED cerakote applicator. Every customer we serve is treated like the absolute most important customer we have ever had, because YOU ARE!
Let’s be honest — there are already enough boring black guns in the world.
Your firearm is more than just a tool. It’s something you carry, train with, trust, and invest in. The guns you choose to own say something about you — just like the truck you drive, the gear you run, or the hobbies you obsess over.
So why leave it looking like everyone else’s?
With Cerakote, we can transform your firearm into something that actually reflects your personality. Whether you want bold, loud colors that turn heads at the range, subtle tones that look clean and professional, camouflage patterns, or full themed artwork — we can make it happen.
Want just a few accent parts coated to break up the black? Easy.
Want a wild color combo that nobody else at the range has? Done.
Want to rep your favorite sports team on your gun? Absolutely.
If you can dream it up, our job is to say YES and turn it into a clean, professional finish that looks incredible and holds up to real use.
Every Cerakote job we do is applied with obsessive attention to detail, because when your gun leaves our shop it’s not just coated — it’s customized.
Book your Cerakote job today and find out why Tactical Penguin simply can’t be beat.
Definitions:
Solid Color - pretty self explanatory on this one. Solid color is one single color on every part in the project
2 tone or battleworn - 2 tone is a mix of 2 solid colors on each individual part in the project. Battleworn is a base of one color and then a light coat of a second color on top with hand "worn" spots to give it an antiqued or used look.
Simple Pattern - Up to 4 colors layered one solid color per layer with no fades. Examples would be duck camo, cell shading (manga), or M81 woodland.
Complex Pattern or Theme - Complex pattern is up to 8 colors with 2 colors per layer, one fade per layer. Examples would be any of the multicam patterns or kryptek patterns. Themes would be any topic you choose done up to your specs. Examples would include "buzz lightyear" "jurrassic park" or "milwaukee tools".
Pricing is for a single part only. A part is the relative size of an upper or lower receiver. Combining small parts to the equivalent size of a lower receiver will equal one part.
Example: If you want an entire AR-15 coated and you want the upper, lower, handguard, and stock with a multicam pattern and all of the smaller parts in a matching solid color you would put 4 "complex pattern" parts in the cart and 2 solid color parts in the cart (barrel is considered one part and then all of the other small parts combined is considered one part).
AK barreled receivers are considered 2 separate parts.
Tactical Penguin Cerakote Warranty
We stand behind our work. Period.
Every Cerakote job we do is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser. If your finish cracks, chips, peels, wears prematurely, or otherwise fails to perform the way a properly applied Cerakote finish should, we’ll redo the work for free.
No drama. No runaround.
That said, Cerakote is tough — but it’s not magic. If you decide to beat your gun against a tree, drag it behind your truck, or roll it down a rocky hill, that kind of “testing” falls outside the warranty. Normal use? Covered. Abuse and intentional destruction? That one’s on you.
Bottom line: if the finish fails because of something we did, we’ll make it right.
That’s the Tactical Penguin guarantee.
Don't forget to add the "tactical firearm bench fee" if we are disassembling and reassembling your firearm.
